Creative ideas for people segmenting their contacts in Google+ using the Circles feature. This could be tricky to work into a CRM like SalesForce, but completely possible.

I like circles because you get to choose the content and groups of people you want to share to a lot easier than on Facebook.

Also, the Inner Circle is nice because that's for that special 5--20 really significant people in your life. What you share with them is different, and they can be added to general circles too.

So what now? Once you have your Circles established, add value and/or share content Relevant to specific circles.
